Blowout Equipment (BOP)

The blowout equipment is intended for wellhead sealing of oil and gas wells during the process of their construction and repair with the purpose of safe execution of works, prevention of blowout and oil gusher, conservation of mineral resources and environment protection. The blowout equipment is manufactured in compliance with technical specifications ТУ 3661-030-39048342-2006, meets the requirements of GOST 13862-90, GOST 27743-88, GOST 12.2.115-86, GOST 12.1.003-83, GOST 12.1.012-90, GOST 12.2-003-91, GOST 12.2.007.0-75, ПБ-08-624-03. The blowout equipment is manufactured in version K1 / K2 according to GOST 13862-90.

The blowout equipment packages make provision for implementation of the following works:

• wellhead sealing including opening and closing of blowout preventer rams (seal) under pressure and without pressure;
• drill-string running and pulling-out with the wellhead being sealed including pipe joints drawing, drill string reciprocation, string suspension on the rams and holding it gripped by the rams while outbursts;
• drill fluid circulation with generation of controlled uplift pressure on bottom and drill fluid degassing;
• efficient control of hydraulically driven elements. 

Main Components of Blowout Preventers:

1. Shank portion  including:
   1. wellhead crosspiece with pipe branches for manifold;
   2. double-gate ram-type preventer (hydraulically-operated, hydraulic with capability to be   reconfigured for manual operation, with manual drive). Optionally the drive for manual ram fixing may be delivered;
   3. hydraulic annular preventer (revolving or non-revolving);
   4. adapter spool.
2. Manifold including:
   1. two wellhead (main) gate valves with manual and hydraulic drive;
   2. distance (pulse) pipes;
   3. killing unit;
   4. throttling unit;
   5. box to locate killing and throttling units (at Customer’s request);
   6. drill fluid settler (at Customer’s request);
   7. drawdown pipes (discharges) (at Customer’s request).
3. Hydraulic control station for preventers and gate valves.
